Information for interviewees
The Cartel Project will be conducting interviews with two different categories of people:
- People who have had previous involvement in enforcement action by the ACCC relating to cartel conduct ("litigant interviewees"). Litigant interviews will be held throughout Australia in 2009 and 2010.
- People who are able to offer the benefit of their experience and insights as a result of being involved in the process by which the decision was made to criminalise cartel conduct and/or in the implementation of a criminal cartel regime ("stakeholder interviewees"). Stakeholder interviews will be held in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States and Sweden. The first round of these interviews will be conducted by Associate Professor Beaton-Wells in the United Kingdom between September and December 2009.
